The Web Creative

I custom design unique and responsive websites, optimised for mobiles, tablets, laptops and desktops, improving the end-user experience and increasing return on investment.

Responsive web design

Websites that have been designed to be responsive automatically resize all pages to the appropriate dimensions for optimum display on laptops, tablets and mobile phones. If your website isn’t responsive, you may lose visitors who will never return. Google estimates as many as 65% of visitors who encounter an unresponsive website look for another business to buy from.

Online shopping

A WooCommerce storefront is the best way to create an exciting new business. It’s your 24/7 online shop working in the background leaving you free to do other important things. And withh its user-friendly interface, it’s a great way to sell your products and services.

Let’s look at some statistics

Don’t miss out on extra business all because you don’t have a website working for you! One that takes care of online bookings so you are free for your clients.

Step 1

Discovery

Purpose?

What is the purpose of the website? What do you expect to achieve from this website? Is there a specific group of people you are aiming at reaching? Will your target audience be looking for a particular product or service? Do you have a budget we can work to?

Copywriting

The light bulb moment

Using information collected from the discovery meeting, we put together a plan for your web site commonly referred to as the site map. The site map is a list of all main topic areas of the site. Then this information is passed on to a copywriter for development.

Step 2

Step 3

Website draft

PSD layout

The layout is the designer’s visualisation of the website based on the client’s input. The function of the layout is to visualise the content and simulate the sites functionality. Layouts contain colours, logos, images and present a storyboard of the website design.

Development

The build

Here you can start creating the website itself. Graphic elements are used to create an actual website, starting with the homepage. Then all sub-pages are added, as stipulated in the sitemap. The WordPress CMS is implemented ensuring the server can cope with the installation. When you use WordPresss for site creation, you can also install plugins for added functionality.

Step 4

Step 5

Testing

Migration and testing

Testing is the final part of a process. Every link must be activated to make sure that none are broken. We check every form, script, run spell-checks, inspect cross-browser compatibility and responsivity to make sure the website displays correctly on all devices before we hand over the website to our client. Finally, we upload the website to the server

Final step

Hand over

It’s time to release the website to our client and part of this process involves deciding where you will host your website? We can host it for you but if you decide to use a third-party host, we can upload it to their server for you or we can release all files to you to organise independently. The job is now complete and after signing some paperwork and finalising the balance of payment, it is project complete. But we are always available to help if you need us.

Step 6

Don’t miss out on extra sales because you don’t have an online storefront available for your customers to shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Where are your customers? Do they know where you are? Then you need a website!Look at my custom packages and pay in 3 easy instalments.
